Admission Eligibility

  • M.Com.

    Eligibility Candidates with 50% or above marks in BBA or in any of the B.Com. streams from any recognized university.
    Age Limit No age limit.
    Index Marks Calculation CGPA obtained in all the subjects.
  • B.Com. Taxation

    Eligibility A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided candidates coming from Non- Commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022
    Index Marks Calculation Total marks in Higher Secondary + Marks scored for Accountancy + Weightage of 15% of marks scored for Business Studies.
  • B.Com.

    Eligibility A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided candidates coming from Non- Commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022

    Index Marks Calculation Total marks in Higher Secondary + marks for Mathematics.

  • B.A.

    Eligibility A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022
    Index Marks Calculation Total marks for Higher Secondary/ equivalent (1200) + double the percentage of marks for General English + 10% weightage of marks scored for optional English component
  • M. A.

    Eligibility Graduates in BA English Language & Literature; BA English & Communicative English; BA Communicative English (Vocational); BA Communicative English or any BA/BSc with credits earned for at least 4 English Language courses, from a recognized university.
    Age Limit No age limit.
    Index Marks Calculation CGPA obtained in Part III subjects.

  • BBA

    Eligibility A pass in Higher Secondary or any other Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with any subject combination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022

  • B.Sc

    Eligibility A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022
    Index Marks Calculation 1) Total marks in Higher Secondary + 15% weightage of marks scored for Psychology, for those who have studied Psychology as a subject in the Plus two level. 2) Total marks in Higher Secondary + 10% weightage of marks scored for Mathematics or Biology (whichever is higher) for those who studied Mathematics or Biology, but not Psychology, as subjects in the plus two level.

  • MSW

    Eligibility Graduation in any subject in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Oriental Studies and Commerce securing not less than 45% marks in Part III - Optional Subjects. BBA Degree holders are also eligible.
    Age Limit No age limit.
    Index Marks Calculation Entrance Test: 40%; Group discussion and Interview: 30%; Mark obtained for UG Examination: 30% or a maximum of 30 marks
  • BSW

    Eligibility A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent recognised by the University.
    Age Limit Must be below 23 years of age for General/SEBC candidates and not more than 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates as of 1st June, 2022
    Index Marks Calculation Total marks in Higher Secondary +10% weightage of marks scored for Social Work for those who have studied Social Work as a subject in the +2 level.

Documents Required

Documents in support of candidature need to be submitted during the admission process. Following is the list of some of the important documents candidates will be required for submission:
  1. Original receipt copy of both online registration fees & admission fees.
  2. A printed copy of the submitted application form.
  3. Allotment Letter of Kerala University for those who are seeking admission through any centralized allotment process.
  4. Original marks list or certificate of the qualifying examination together with 4 passport-size photos.
  5. Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.
  6. Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.
  7. Migration Certificate (Applicants coming from other Universities).
  8. Eligibility Certificate of Kerala University (Applicants coming from other Universities).
  9. Community and Income Certificate for SC/ST/OEC/SEBC students. (if required)
  10. Course cancellation note from the previous university. (if required)
  11. Certificate to prove BPL quota. (if applicable)
  12. Other relevant documents in support of any claim that needs to be mentioned in the application.
