Dr. Y. Joy has been the Principal of Don Bosco College, Kottiyam since the year 2015. He holds a PhD in English Literature and has close to four decades of teaching experience. A much sought-after motivational speaker and prolific writer he has served the University of Kerala in several academic capacities. He has been actively involved with the State Library Council, promoting a culture of reading and love for books everywhere. He has won accolades as NSS programme officer at various levels. A great humanitarian, he is part of several initiatives towards the empowerment of the poor and downtrodden of the society. A wonderful academician and a born leader, he has several publications to his credit and he continues to motivate his team of teachers and students to excel in academics and in life.
